🌿 Life has a way of surprising us. It can quietly shift the foundation of what we believe about ourselves and the world around us. In those moments, we’re called to pause and reflect—not just on where we are, but how we got here. More often than not, it’s because where we are isn’t where we truly want to be. Years ago, I led an online encounter group for seniors—we had many heartfelt conversations. During the pandemic, our little community became a lifeline, not just for them, but for me as well. Many felt too vulnerable to return to their church communities, afraid to risk their health for connection. While some of those dear friends have since passed, others are in new chapter of their lives, finding their way forward, one step at a time — reconnecting with life, their community, and with the people around them. 🚧 I’ve faced my roadblocks, too.
